Tullow was the successful bidder on two highly prospective licences offered in Trinidad and Tobago’s Sixth Licensing Round.  The Company is currently in negotiations with the Ministry of Energy (MOETT) to finalise Production Sharing Contracts.

The first licence, covering Block 2 (ab), lies in shallow water off the east coast of Trinidad and will be held by Tullow, Centrica and Petrotrin, the state oil company. The second licence, which includes Guayaguayare Shallow and Guayaguayare Deep, lies in the southern basin onshore and off the southern coast. This licence will initially be held by Tullow and Petrotrin.
