During 2007 Tullow negotiated deals with Nam and GDF to acquire its first acreage offshore the Netherlands. Final paperwork on these two deals is still awaiting completion.

GDF had been awarded block E/13 during 2007 and subsequently made an agreement with Tullow whereby the Company acquired varying interests in the eastern and western parts of the block. The eastern part of the block contains theEpidotediscovery.

In a separate deal with NAM Tullow agreed to acquire a 30% operating interest in two productionlicencesin Quadrant L.

Tullow made applications for a further five blocks on trend with block E13. Three of these blocks have now been awarded and it is anticipated that the other two blocks will awarded shortly.Workprogrammeson these blocks will focus on seismic reprocessing and interpretation during 2008 and lead to an exploration drilling campaign in 2009.
