Angus McCoss appointed to the Board

6 December 2006 - Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) announces the appointment of Angus McCoss to the Board of Tullow as Exploration Director with immediate effect. Angus joined the Group in April this year as General Manager - Exploration. As Exploration Director Angus will continue to be responsible for the implementation of Tullow’s exploration programmes, the continued growth and renewal of the Group’s acreage portfolio and the ongoing development of Tullow’s worldwide technical team.

Commenting today, Pat Plunkett, Chairman of Tullow said:
