Carbon Disclosure Project
Tullow recognises that climate change is a significant global and industry issue. Our strategy is to reduce emissions, minimise pollution and our impact on the environment. The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) (www.cdproject.net) is an organisation for institutional investor collaboration on the business implications of climate change. CDP is a process whereby institutional investors collectively sign a single global request for disclosure of information on GHG emissions. More than 1,000 companies report on their emissions through this project and Tullow participated in 2006 and will continue to do so. We are aligned with the UK Government in meeting its Kyoto objectives on GHG emissions, and our EHS policy and IMS reinforces Tullow's environmental commitment under ISO 14001, the internationally recognised standard for environmental management.
