Tullow has development and production interests in two Hess operated licences offshore Equatorial Guinea, encompassing the Ceiba field and the Okume Complex. The Ceiba field has been producing since 2000 and Tullow gained its interest in the field through the acquisition in 2004 of Energy Africa. The Okume Complex development commenced in 2004 and came on stream at the end of 2006.
development & operations
Activity during 2015 was focused on improving operating efficiency and asset integrity at the Hess operated Ceiba and Okume fields. A subsea workover on an existing Ceiba well was completed in the second quarter 2016. 4D siesmic data is being used to determine the quantity of future infill wells.
