Jun 1st Jubilee discovery well; Mahogany-1.
Aug Hyedua-1 well confirms the existence of a large oil field straddling the Deepwater Tano and West Cape Three Points licences.
Oct The Tullow operated 1N-3X exploration well in the near shore Shallow Water Tano block encountered hydrocarbon bearing sandstones.
   
2008
Feb Tullow designated as field operator.
Mar Jubilee Phase 1 development commences.
May Mahogany-2 appraisal well establishes major upside.
Nov The successful Ebony-1 well encountered hydrocarbon bearing intervals.
   
2009
Jan Mahogany-3 extends Jubilee field to the southeast and discovers Mahogany Deep
Hyedua-2 appraisal well tested at 16,750 bopd
Tullow withdrew from the Shallow Water Tano licence.
Mar Tweneboa-1 discovers new light hydrocarbon field.
May Carried out DST well test on Mahogany-1 which flowed at 20,000 bopd.
Jul The Minister of Energy in Ghana formally approves the Jubilee field Phase 1 Development Plan and Unitisation Agreement on behalf of the Government of Ghana.
Aug 6 development wells drilled, successfully encountering anticipated reservoir thickness and quality.
Sep Mahogany-4 discovery extends the Jubilee field eastwards.
Dec First part of a two-stage Environment Impact Assessment approved by the Ghana Environmental Protection Agency.
   
2010
Jan Tweneboa-2 appraisal well discovers significant oil and gas-condensate field.
May FPSO officially named the Kwame Nkrumah and sets sail from Singapore to Ghana.
Jun FPSO arrives in Ghanaian waters.
Sep Owo-1 sidetrack result confirms the initial discovery in July is a significant oil find.
Dec First oil is achieved from the Jubilee field Phase 1 development.
   
2011
Jan Tweneboa-3 and Tweneboa-3 sidetrack appraisal wells discover gas-condensate.
First offtake from the Jubilee FPSO successful completed.
Feb Teak-1 discovers 73 metres of net hydrocarbons in Campanian and Turonian-aged reservoirs. The fifth field discovered in Tullow's Ghana acreage.
Mar Enyenra-2A well confirms that the Enyenra field (formally named Owo) is in communication over a 7km distance.
July Tullow completes the acquisition of the Ghanaian interests of EO Group Limited for $305 million.
Trading of Tullow shares on the Ghana Stock Exchange commenced on 27 July 2011.
Aug TEN Front End Engineering & Design (FEED) commenced.
Nov Teak-3 discovery extends the Teak field.
   
2012
Jan Jubilee Phase 1A Plan of Development approved by the Government of Ghana.
Nov TEN Plan of Development submitted to the Government of Ghana
