Tullow Oil plc (Tullow) today releases its 2012 Corporate Responsibility report which details Tullow’s performance across a range of areas including safety, governance, people, supply chain, local content and social performance. The report provides new levels of disclosure on payments to major stakeholder groups including governments.

Tullow Ghana supports editors’ education on Oil and Gas

Tullow Ghana recently sponsored a two-day seminar on oil and gas for editors from selected local on-line and print media at Koforidua, in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Attendees included more than 20 representatives of publications such as the Daily Graphic, the Ghana News Agency, Joy FM and Citi FM.

Uganda wins ethical supply chain award at the East African CSR Awards 2012

Tullow Uganda has won the award for “Most Responsible & Ethical Supply Chain” at the East African CSR Awards in April this year. The awards showcase companies that go beyond compliance with legal requirements to integrate social and environmental values into their management strategies.

Tullow Uganda received the award for most Responsible Investor at the Uganda Responsible Awards that took place on the 22 March 2012. The Awards are organised by the Uganda Investment Authority and Public Opinions, a civil society organisation in Uganda.
